What do I need to bring for my first pole class?
We recommend that you bring a water bottle, wear shorts, bring leg warmers and/or knee pads
What do I wear for Aerial Silks and Aerial Yoga?
Cap sleeve t-shirts and leggings or yoga pants are a must. All visible jewelry, sharp edges such as zippers must be removed to avoid tearing the fabric. Long pointed finger nails may have to be tapped when you arrive as they can puncture through the fabric.
Is this really something anyone can do?
Yes! We have developed classes for all fitness levels. What ever you set your mind to do your body will follow with determination. All of our classes are friendly and welcoming. We strive to keep all of our students comfortable.
When should I arrive?
Arrive 10 minutes early your first class and make sure to fill out your waiver prior to your first class. Following your first class, 5 minutes early is sufficient
What if I show up late?
If you show up 5 minutes after class has started you may be denied entry. It is very difficult for the instructor to manage and teach when students are showing up late.
Do classes get cancelled?
If only 1-3 participants are registered or if an instructor is sick and can't find a substitution we may need to cancel classes from time to time. Check the schedule frequently! We will email, text or call if any cancellations occur
Can my partner or friend sit in and watch?
No, we do not allow anyone who isn't registered in the class to attend. This is to be courteous to other students and ensure their comfort and safety.
What about injuries?
As with any sport there are risks, all of our instructors are certified professionals and we ask that you listen to their directions and safety advise.
What class should I start in?
If you have never taken an aerial or pole fit class you will need to start in beginner, fundamentals or level 1. If you have taken classes else where you will need to do a quick evaluation prior to class to ensure you are working at that class levels pace! This is to ensure everyone's safety
